To strengthen our product development team for the specific Automotive camera market requirements, DxOMark Image Labs is opening an ADAS Camera system engineering position.

Job Description

This position is focused on system-level engineering of camera quality evaluation solutions and process for ADAS cameras related to automotive vision systems including, but not limited to, forward view cameras, back-up cameras, surround view cameras, mirror replacement cameras and driver monitoring.

The ideal candidate would be highly self-motivated and have the willingness to dive right in. You will work directly with an Agile development team including software developers, hardware engineers and Image processing scientists.

The key missions for this position are:

  • Analyze product specification and customer requirement for Automotive camera systems.
  • Design test strategy / cases / protocol for camera system requirements from safety system level function to camera module technical specifications
  • Develop measurement solutions, system definition, system layout, system specification
  • Specify and source HW components required for the measurements
  • Hands-on prototype ADAS measurement solutions
  • Test and validate measurement prototypes on several “real-world” Automotive camera systems
  • Prepare customer technical documentation on camera testing methods and results


Required Skills:

  • MS or Engineering Degree in Optics, Physics, Image processing or machine vision.
  • 8 or more years’ experience in camera systems engineering.
  • 3 or more years’ experience in Automotive Camera
  • Python, C-code and/or C++
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative thinking.
  • Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer.
  • Good verbal / written skills in English

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of driver assistance sensor technologies and functions, high interest to work on new driver assistance technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
  • Comfortable with test activities in vehicles.
  • Valid driver License.
  • Additional languages such as Mandarin, French or German.
